I'm desperate for You

"This is the air I breathe...
Your very Word spoken to me
And I...I'm desperate for You
And I...I'm lost without You"

I was reminded of the words of this songs when I spoke to the sad and anguished  mother of  a 20 year old woman named Katarin. She has been in a coma for the past 4 years. The young woman was having a baby and had complications which resulted in the inability to move or respond in any way. Katarin's mother was desperate for help. She cried for a long time because she wanted her daughter back. But unfortunately we can't bring her daughter back. Only God can help to heal her soul  and we hope to be a beacon of light that points her toward Him.

                                                                               






Everyone that we see is not sad. In fact some are full of joy and one in particular brought our eam great joy and was such a blessing to us.  This is a photo of Juan who had meningitis when he was young which resulted in physical and intellectual limitations. The knees of his pants were worn through because he crawls everywhere. But look at his smile! He was not just enthusiastic about the new wheelchair, he was  thrilled and ecstatic! And best of all, he said that he loved Jesus and thanked Jesus for the wheelchair.
